"S/U" (satisfactory/unsatisfactory) may be given to designate level of performance in courses which evaluate completion of specified competencies. (For designated courses only.) Students must perform at or above the 2.0 level to receive an "S" grade. The credits from these courses are included the "Ehrs" and "Earned Hrs" field of the current semester totals and cumulative totals on the transcript. It is not included in the "GPA Hrs" and does not affect the student's grade point average. A grade of "U" indicates performance was below 2.0 level and no credits are included on the transcript nor does it affect the student's GPA.
"I" (incomplete) may be given at the discretion of the instructor if it is believed that the student has a valid reason for not having completed the course work and can fulfill the requirements during the next semester. An Incomplete not made up by the end of the next semester automatically becomes a 0.0. Incompletes may be extended one additional semester at the discretion of the instructor.
"W" (withdrawn) will be give to the student who officially withdraws from the class after the add period, and before the last ten percent of the session. Dates are listed in the schedule of classes.
"AU" (audit) can be issued at the time of registration upon full payment of tuition and fees if a student wishes to attend a class without receiving college academic credit or a grade. Changing from "credit" to "audit" may take place up to approximately 50 percent of the academic session. Changing from "audit" to "credit" must be completed during the add period. Dates are listed in the schedule of classes.
Good Standing
Students are considered to be in academic good standing when they have a minimum overall grade point average (GPA) of 2.0.
Grade Point Average
Grade point average (GPA) is a weighted average of grades. A grade for a course is multiplied by the credit hours for that course to obtain "grade points". Total grade points are then divided by total credit hours to determine the grade point average. The semester GPA is the weighted grade point average. When a course is repeated, both the most recent grade and previous grade will appear on the transcript (official academic record). However, only the last grade will be counted in the 糖心直播 cumulative grade point average. Grades of S, U, I, W, Q, NQ, FA, and AU are not used in the computation of grade point average.

"Q/NQ" (qualified/not qualified) may be given at the completion of courses which qualify the student to proceed to the next course in a sequence. (For designated courses only, prior to 2002.) Assigned to students in specified courses to indicate whether or not they are qualified to proceed to the next course in a sequence.
"FA" (failed to attend) may be given if a student registered for a course but never attended and did not officially drop.
